Central Saint Martins Foundation Graphic Communication Design Students held the annual Made to Persuade pop up exhibition and sale in the Crossing in December. Students sold graphic design products which offered a new way of looking at, thinking about or interacting with the world.

Mireille and Hans Burkhardt from Swiss bookbinder BUBU challenged Central Saint Martins Foundation Fine Art students to re-imagine the concept of the book. In January, Graphic & Communication Design students from our Foundation in Art and Design Course were invited by the House of Illustration, to respond to their current major exhibition Paula Rego / Honoré Daumier: Scandal, Gossip and Other Stories.
Eighteen Foundation Graphic Design students were featured in the international exhibition Books of Desire at The Biblioteca Classense in Ravenna in June 2014.
This exhibition was part of a special event celebrating twenty years of ‘libri mai mai visti’, which translates as ‘books never ever seen’. The idea was to create handmade books that the public can leaf through, play with, smell, and even listen to.
